Swabs
Traditional swabs without transport medium
Dry swabs used for collecting biological samples without any accompanying substance to preserve or stabilize the sample during transport.
Non sterile
Non-sterile swabs presented in bags of 100 units.
Sterile (1 unit)
Sterile swabs individually wrapped in peel-pack or flow pack, depending
on the model.
Sterile (2 unit)
Two Sterile swabs wrapped in peel-pack, depending on the model.
Sterile in round tube
Sterile dry swabs supplied in shockproof round bottom polypropylene tube, with a label sealing the cap.
Sterile, Human DNAsa, RNAsa, DNA free
Human DNA free Certified. Sterilized by ethylene oxyde.
Traditional swabs with transport medium
Swabs designed to collect biological specimens and preserve them during transport to a laboratory for analysis.
Sterile, Amies
Universal transport media for bacteria in microbiological samples.
Sterile, Amies liquid
This is a variation of the traditional Amies media swab where the media is presented as liquid form without agar.
Sterile, Stuart
The modified Stuart media allows the conservation and transportation of a large number of pathological microorganisms.
Sterile, Cary Blair
Cary Blair is another modification of Stuart media.
Sterile, Chlamydia
Liquid media, suitable for Chlamydia.
Flocked swabs without transport medium
Flocked swabs with and without breaking point, that perform the most efficient absorption and elution for the collection of microbiological samples. These swabs are presented in tube or flow-pack without transport medium.
Flocked swabs with transport medium "DeltaSwabs®"
Range of swabs for the collection and transport of microbiological samples in liquid medium. The Deltaswabs system is compatible with automation equipment
for inoculation and seeding of samples, as well as with molecular diagnostic techniques. Compared to traditional swabs, with this range we obtain:
1. Greater reliability in sample recovery: high absorption and elution capacity of the flocked swab.
2. Greater sample viability since it remains completely suspended in the medium.
3. It allows obtaining different homogeneous inocula from the same sample.
4. It adapts to any work protocol.
In addition, possible cross-contamination is minimized due to less handling and maximum tightness. The Deltaswab system allows direct spreading on the slide, as it does not contain the agar medium and ensures the correct transport and storage of samples both at room temperature (20ºC – 25ºC) and at refrigeration temperature (4ºC – 8ºC).
Sterile, Amies
Particularly suited for microbiological sample collection and transport.
Sterile, Cary Blair
Specially suited for the collection and transport of faecal samples.
Sterile, VICUM
Particularly suited for collecting and transporting microbiological samples which contain Virus, Chlamydia, Ureaplasma and/or Mycoplasma.
Sterile, Virus
Particularly suited for collecting and transporting microbiological samples which contain viruses.
Enrichment media
LIM broth
Selective enrichment medium for Group B Streptococcus, including S. agalactiae.
Selenite
Enrichment medium that inhibits the proliferation of bacterial microbiote.
Thioglycolate
Widely used enrichment medium for isolation and cultivation of Aerobic and Anaerobic Bacteria and Fastidius Bacteria.
